For some reason, the mod will load up correctly but then suddenly switch back to the regular Madden menu as it boots up.

I also get an error message in Frosty that says the mod was made for a different patch version. Any solutions? Loading the roster of course does load the correct college players, but is currently the only part of the mod that works. The hard work shows and it looks so good. Can anyone help me out? Half pat on the back. This update is good, no doubt about it. I just wished they would've leaned more heavily on the "Fog of War" dynamic. Not just exclusively dev traits, but also attributes until they've taken a arbitrary number of snaps to determine where the player really stands in a particular area.

This is a football sim Last year they fixed it so a team that drafted a QB the year before won't draft one the following season and that's how it needs to be. Overall shouldn't be the only thing they look at. Age and potential need to be a factor. This is ridiculous. My existing Franchise is still crashing when I go to exit the "franchise mode" back to the main Madden Menu. It kicks me to the PS5 interface saying an error occurred and do I want to send report to Sony. I always say yes. This has happened dozens of time prior to the patch.

I just noticed I clicked online franchise. Most running backs and Qbs running for 10 yards is not fixed. Last year they SAID they fixed it. I have never seen real evidence that shows they did fix it - either in M21 at the end of the year or in M AI draft logic seems just as bad as it was before they claimed to fix it.

Just a heads up for when you get to the week week 11, I believe where you select the three players you want to get the most info on - you better know who you are selecting BEFORE opening the prompt to select the players! If you don't know who you are going to select after you go into that prompt and want to go back and look at more info on each player, you have no way to enter the menu of selecting the three players again.

Just an FYI Do they even bother testing coop? Last year had other issues they never fixed. Now they broke on field play art and a 90 year old man who plays RB for me is lost during plays.

If they never progressed like I wanted them to, cut them and moved on. I'm talking about later rounds.

You have what, 3 scouts and a national? That national is focused on the one glaring need that you have, the others are just getting what they can, here or there. You never get to dabble into every position.

Say I fill my needs in the first 4 rounds, and I want to just fill tiny holes at WR,HB and hell I just wanna get an extra corner, all of that with my last 3 picks. Issue is, I didn't focus on those positions at all because I needed to fill my biggest needs. Now I'm just blindly choosing players based on a small mixture of tangibles, hoping it pans out.

Legacy, dare I say was good on this cause it kinda gave you a picture of where some guys would be in the later rounds. Does anyone know how far the mock drafts go? Is it just the first round? Can someone try this play and see if crashes for you? Same thing with the private workouts in the Offseason. So far after my first pass at it in testing…indeed they fixed the CPU logic! Hope they fix this. So with the progressive fatigue what is actually happening late in the season now? Instead of subbing out and disappearing are they subbing out more but coming back in? Do they not have a speed burst or get tackled easier? I just ran a bit of a game and coverage looked a lot better to me.

Passing off receives in zone coverage looked improved animation-wise, and it seemed like transitions between various running animations for defenders was tuned so there's less weirdness and wasted movement. Sorry if this has answered already. But can I continue my franchise I already started or do I have to start all over for it to take effect?

I guess I am in the minority as this patch and the last few have affected some parts of the game play that I thought were fine at launch and done nothing to affect others. AI QB completion percentage and Human for that matter have gone way up. To make it worse the few throws that are off line now are comically bad. Missing receivers by 10 yards, floating quick screens etc. AI WR almost drop nothing at this point without lowering the sliders. The AI secondary play is so plainly juiced up that it is ridiculous.

Human defenders do not react to the ball like they do. I have countless videos or DB's coming off coverage and breaking on routes before I have even released the ball. Never mind the no look, stop turn and jump INT.

I'm actually astonished this isn't talked about more. The kicking game was more accurate at launch. If I barely missed the target I would miss a FG or extra point. I was so happy this worked finally and the fact I could miss these kicks made that part of the game more stressful.

Now you can miss it by a lot and still kick it dead straight, so disappointing. For me with this latest patch the game speed has dropped noticeably. The players just move slower. Throw in lack of penalties still and I don't particularly care what they add off the field if I am no longer enjoying on the field. This seems a recurring theme that as the game gets patched little things that actually felt realistic turn back to arcadey junk.

I was so excited for this years game and now I can barely stomach a full game. In all honesty, all they did was change the look of last year's, and took away the ability to choice the players you want to scout. What really pisses me off is the logic of the scouting and mock draft. I changed a HB that's was original rated in the day 3 group. I made him 82 over best player on the draft ratings wise.

I simulated through the season after setting my focus area on hb from his region and a focus player. I thought it was the same logic as last year where the CPU doesn't actually scout players it's all based on where they are positioned in the scouting screens.

So I moved him to the a projected 24th pick. Simmed the first round didn't get picked. Sorry it's a lot. But it makes me mad cuz they didn't actually fix the issue. But that's not how it should work. My hb was the fastest in the draft that alone should move him up, but add the fact that after scouting his abilities he should also move up. And at the very least you reach on a player maybe a rd early not, but the projection logic is broken.
